We are seeking one exceptional chapter book manuscript by an African writer for publication.
What We’re Looking For
- One completed chapter book manuscript
- For readers ages 6–9
- Maximum length: 5,000 words
- Humorous and heartwarming stories
- Strong, memorable characters
- Child-centered plots
- Stories set in Africa or inspired by African cultures
We Are Not Seeking
- Picture books or Middle grade novels
- Young adult fiction or Poetry
- Nonfiction or Religious instruction
- Previously published books
- Adult fiction or nonfiction

a. Manuscript: Submit your manuscript as a .doc or .docx file, formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spaced.
