
UGO ANIDI
Ugo Anidi is an award-winning Nigerian children’s author and writing instructor. Her debut picture book, Half Hour Hara and the Case of the Broken Eggs, was shortlisted for the 2024 CANEX Prize for Publishing in Africa. She writes stories rooted in African life, culture, folklore, and mythology, stories that serve as mirrors for African children and windows into African worlds for young readers everywhere.
The Missing Chicken is her second picture book.
Ugo lives in Lagos, Nigeria, with her husband, four sons, over 300 books, and a lively chorus of characters who insist on living rent-free in her head.
