We are seeking one exceptional picture book manuscript by an African writer for publication.
What We’re Looking For
- One completed picture book manuscript
- For readers ages 3–8
- Maximum length: 1,000 words
- Humorous and heartwarming stories
- Strong, memorable characters
- Child-centered plots
- Contemporary stories set in Africa
- Multiple entries are welcome
We Are Not Seeking
- Chapter books or Middle grade novels
- Young adult fiction or Poetry
- Nonfiction or Religious instruction
- Previously published books
- Adult fiction or nonfiction
Submission Guidelines
Please submit
a. Manuscript: Submit your manuscript as a .doc or .docx file, formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spaced.
b. Brief Bio stating your country of residence plus contact details
